Dr Buddhika is a dedicated General Practitioner Registrar with more than 12 years of experience working across hospital and general practice settings in Sri Lanka. Now proud to call Bathurst home, he is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based healthcare to individuals and families within the local community.

Since relocating to Australia, Dr Buddhika has gained extensive experience working in Emergency Departments across New South Wales and Queensland, managing a wide variety of acute and complex medical conditions. As a Family GP Registrar, he enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is passionate about delivering personalised, patient-centred care. His approach focuses on preventative health, chronic disease management, health assessments, immunisations, and helping patients achieve their long-term health goals.

Dr Buddhika has particular interests in paediatrics, dermatology, adult medicine, and the management of chronic conditions. He is currently undertaking the Australian General Practice Training Program (AGPT) as part of his pathway towards achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He is committed to continually expanding his knowledge and skills to provide the highest standard of care to his patients.
