Terrienne is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) with a nursing background and experience across a range of healthcare settings. Originally from Queensland, she began her career in nursing before travelling and working in areas including general nursing, paediatrics and intensive care. She also spent several years living and working in remote Northern Territory communities, where she gained valuable experience supporting Indigenous health.
Throughout her nursing career, Terrienne recognised the importance of accessible diabetes care, education and ongoing support. This inspired her to undertake postgraduate studies in diabetes and develop a dedicated focus on supporting people living with the condition.
Terrienne is passionate about advocating for people living with diabetes and providing practical, easy-to-understand education to help patients better understand and manage their health. She takes a supportive and patient-centred approach, working collaboratively with patients, families and other healthcare professionals to provide care tailored to individual needs, circumstances and health goals.
Outside of work, Terrienne enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and watching footy.
