Dr Monzur Murshed is an experienced General Practitioner and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) with more than 20 years of experience in medicine and general practice. After graduating with his MBBS in Bangladesh, he commenced his career in internal medicine and general practice in 2001. He relocated to Adelaide in 2011, where he successfully completed the Australian Medical Council (AMC) examinations and hospital training at Lyell McEwin Hospital and Modbury Hospital before moving to New South Wales in 2017.

As a dedicated Family GP, Dr Murshed is passionate about lifelong learning and embraces the RACGP philosophy that "A good GP never stops learning." He is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care with a strong focus on preventative health, chronic disease management, health assessments, immunisations, and supporting individuals and families through every stage of life.

Dr Murshed has special interests in chronic disease management, child health, women's health, dermatology, skin cancer medicine, and mental health. He has previously worked at Glenside Mental Health Hospital in Adelaide and has completed further training in Skin Cancer Surgery, Women's Health, Reproductive and Sexual Health, and IUD insertion through Family Planning NSW. He is also a Conjoint Lecturer at Western Sydney University, where he enjoys teaching medical students, GP registrars and doctors on independent pathways. Outside of work, he enjoys volunteering, gardening, regular physical activity and participating in the Bathurst Parkrun.
