Dr Sho Howes is an experienced General Practitioner and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 1998 and completed her General Practice training in Bathurst after marrying a local. She later spent 12 years practising in Dubbo and Narromine before returning to Bathurst, where she is pleased to once again care for the local community.
As a dedicated Family GP, Dr Howes enjoys the diversity that general practice offers and values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with her patients. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care across every stage of life, with a strong focus on preventative health, chronic disease management, health assessments, immunisations, and supporting patients to achieve their long-term health goals.
Dr Howes enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in chronic disease management, mental health, paediatrics, and women's health. She is passionate about delivering personalised, patient-centred care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering good food, and reading.
